Nocefresca
Nocefresca
About This Opportunity
Nocefresca, an artist‑led residency on the island of Sardinia, Italy, announces its 7th edition (Open Call 2027). The program offers artists a month‑long stay (flexible dates between March 2026 and December 2026, excluding January, February, July and August) in the small village of Milis (Via Diaz, 18, 09070 Milis, OR). Participants are housed in locally‑owned apartments—shared or private—fully equipped with kitchen, Wi‑Fi, hot water, laundry facilities, linens and free street parking. The residency provides studio space, basic equipment, and access to workshops and community activities organized by resident artists and local hosts. While the stay is not funded, selected artists receive a formal invitation letter to support external funding applications. The call is open to visual artists (and welcomes other disciplines), with no age or nationality restrictions. Applications are submitted online via the “Apply Now” form; the deadline is 7 September 2026. No application fee is required. Selected artists will be notified by 14 October 2025. The residency emphasizes self‑directed practice, community engagement, and immersion in the Mediterranean landscape.
