Nexus Arts Studio Residencies 2027

The Nexus Arts Studio Residency Program offers a 3‑month residency for emerging and early‑career South Australian artists, providing a free onsite studio space in Adelaide’s CBD, mentorship from a leading South Australian creative practitioner, and an opportunity to present new work through a solo exhibition or public program. The 2027 program includes three residency slots: Dec 2026–Feb 2027, May–July 2027, and Sep–Nov 2027, each culminating in an exhibition or gallery activation. Applications are currently open and will close midnight on Friday, 28 August 2026, with notifications sent in mid‑September. The residency supports artists from culturally diverse or First Nations backgrounds and aims to foster professional development and public engagement.
