National Arts & Painting Competition | Trinidad & Tobago

Hashtag Kalakar presents the National Arts & Painting Competition 2026, an online platform inviting artists worldwide to showcase their talent and compete for substantial cash prizes and media exposure. The competition is open to all age groups, with separate registration fees for children under 9 (TT$69), teens 10-19 (TT$109), and adults 20 and older (TT$159). Fees are fully refundable if the participant is not selected in the first round. Artists may submit up to five artworks per registration. The competition proceeds in three rounds: an initial shortlisting of the top 1,000 participants from Trinidad & Tobago, a voting round, and a final jury evaluation combined with audience voting. Winners receive TT$10,000 for first place, TT$7,000 for second, and TT$4,000 for third, along with media coverage, magazine features, and national ranking certificates. The artwork submission deadline is 31 October 2026, with final results announced thereafter. Participants must submit JPEG, JPG, or PNG files of original works. The competition is held online, with no travel or housing support provided.
