MSCA Staff Exchanges 2027

MSCA Staff Exchanges 2027 is a Horizon Europe call that promotes innovative international, inter‑sectoral and interdisciplinary collaboration in research and innovation. The call invites consortia of at least three independent legal entities—each from a different country, with at least two in EU Member States or Horizon Europe Associated Countries—to propose joint research and innovation projects that include staff exchanges and secondments. Eligible staff include researchers at any career stage, as well as administrative, managerial and technical personnel supporting the project’s R&I activities. The consortium must include both academic and non‑academic organisations, and the seconded staff must be adequately mentored. The call offers funding for staff exchanges, secondments, networking activities, workshops, conferences and mentoring, with an indicative total budget of EUR 95.04 million. The opening date is 15 December 2026 and the deadline for proposals is 15 April 2027, 17:00 CEST. Successful projects will be notified in September 2027, with grant agreements signed in November 2027 and projects starting in January 2028. The call is open to organisations across Europe and beyond, and applications are free of charge.
