About This Opportunity

The Micro‑Residency at Bischoff Inn provides artists with a clean, calming space for study, work and relaxation during the summer months (May 1 – September 30). Residencies last 1 or 2 weeks and are designed for artists with other responsibilities, offering a semi‑private workspace (550‑668 sq ft) in a separate building, a private bedroom with en‑suite bathroom, Wi‑Fi, climate control, smart TV, and access to a communal lounge with kitchen amenities. No application fee is required; artists pay a base residency fee of $375 per week (plus taxes) and an additional $50 per week for partners or children. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until the program reaches its capacity of ten artists per month. The program is open to artists residing in the United States at any career stage, across disciplines such as visual arts, fashion, writing, music, and more. Spouses/partners and children may stay for the full duration, while pets are not allowed. The residency is family‑friendly and provides private housing but no meals or travel stipend.
