Larnaca Biennale 2027 Open Call for Artists

The Larnaca Biennale 2027, the fifth edition of Cyprus’s largest contemporary art event, is calling for artists from around the world to submit proposals for its main exhibition. The theme, “Metatopies: Geographies in Motion,” explores movement, belonging, borders, and shifting identities through contemporary art. Submissions are accepted through the Biennale’s official website from 1 June 2026 to 31 March 2027. The call is open to all disciplines and career stages, with no specific eligibility restrictions noted. While the call does not provide a stipend or housing, selected works will be exhibited in Larnaca between 13 October and 26 November 2027, offering international exposure and the opportunity to engage with a broad audience. The Biennale is organized by the ARTION Cultural Association of Larnaca and supported by the Deputy Ministry of Culture and the Municipality of Larnaca.
