Small Grants for Artists & Arts Organizations

The Portland Office of Arts & Culture’s Small Grants Program partners with Friends of IFCC, MusicOregon, and the Regional Arts & Culture Council (RACC) to award grants of up to $5,000 for individual artists and up to $10,000 for nonprofit organizations in fiscal year 2026‑27. The program includes a dedicated Artist Grant & Residency Program with studio space and year‑long professional development opportunities, a MusicOregon Echo Fund supporting independent musicians with creative project funding, and RACC’s Portland Arts Project Grants for a wide range of artistic endeavors. Applications are open to Portland‑based artists and organizations across all disciplines, with no age restriction. The program offers financial support, studio space, mentorship, and professional development resources. The MusicOregon Echo Fund’s application deadline is September 8, 2026 at 5:00 p.m., while the Friends of IFCC and RACC deadlines are to be announced for the 2026‑27 fiscal year.
