Jambinu / Geraldton Funded Artist Residency
About This Opportunity
In 2026, ART ON THE MOVE is pleased to partner with the Museum of Geraldton to deliver our first residency in Jambinu. Together, we invite WA artists to apply for this exciting opportunity to live in Jambinu/Geraldton and work with the WA Museum collection. We welcome project proposals that explore overlooked or concealed histories, that challenge dominant narratives, and create new connections and interpretations. Artists are strongly encouraged to consider their own personal connections to Jambinu/Geraldton and the Mid West region, whether through family, culture, memory, or lived experience.
Restrictions
The opportunity is open to all practicing artists based in WA over the age of 18. Artists must have Australian citizenship or permanent resident status. We strongly encourage artists based in the Mid West region to apply.
