The City of Toronto, Arts Services, is recruiting two part‑time positions at the Cedar Ridge Creative Centre, 225 Confederation Drive, Scarborough, ON. 1) Pottery Instructor – responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating advanced adult pottery programs, providing demonstrations, critiques, and ensuring health‑and‑safety standards. The role offers an hourly rate of $31.16, requires a minimum age of 18, a portfolio, a degree or diploma (or equivalent experience) in pottery or related medium, and strong teaching experience. 2) Pottery Technician – responsible for the technical operation and maintenance of the pottery studio, including kiln scheduling, equipment repair, glaze preparation, and studio safety. The role offers an hourly rate of $26.68, requires a degree or diploma in pottery (or equivalent), a portfolio, and extensive technical knowledge of glaze chemistry and kiln operation. Both positions require a portfolio, health‑and‑safety knowledge, vulnerable sector checks, and First Aid certification.
