International Call For Artists # Application for NordArt 2026

NordArt 2027 is the 23rd edition of the annual contemporary art exhibition organized by the non‑profit cultural initiative Kunstwerk Carlshütte in Büdelsdorf, Germany. The call invites artists worldwide to submit up to ten artworks for consideration in a large‑scale exhibition that runs from 5 June to 3 October 2027. Applications are free of charge and can be submitted online, by email or by post. The jury, composed of curators, artists and art historians, will select the participating artists by mid‑February 2027. Selected artists will receive a catalogue entry, insurance for their works during the exhibition, and the opportunity to exhibit alongside more than 200 other international artists. The competition offers a €10 000 NordArt Prize to one outstanding artist and three €1 000 Public Choice Awards determined by visitor voting. Award winners are invited to participate in the following year’s exhibition. Artists are responsible for transportation of their works to and from the venue in Büdelsdorf and for any associated costs. No commission is taken on sales. The call is open to artists of all nationalities and disciplines, with no age or group restrictions. A special Artist in Residence option is available for artists who wish to develop or install a work on site. The deadline for applications is 31 October 2026.
