IASPIS – Swedish Arts Grants Committee (2027–2028 International Residency)
Swedish Arts Grants Committee
About This Opportunity
The IASPIS International Programme for Visual and Applied Arts, administered by the Swedish Arts Grants Committee, provides a fully funded residency for international visual and applied artists. Selected artists receive a furnished studio‑apartment in central Stockholm, a monthly stipend of SEK 15,000 (approximately $1,400), and access to a network of Swedish art institutions. The programme offers 9 places in Stockholm and additional residencies in Gothenburg, Malmö and Umeå, as well as partner residencies abroad. Applications are not submitted directly by artists; candidates must be nominated by a peer, curator, or other art professional. The annual call opens each year with a proposal deadline of 5 December 2026 for the 2027–2028 residency cycle. The residency duration ranges from 2 to 6 months, depending on the project. No application fee is required.
