About This Opportunity

The European Dance Development Network (EDN) and SÍN Arts Centre, in collaboration with Trafó House of Contemporary Arts, are calling for applications to the 2026 Atelier – a three‑day workshop held in Budapest from 16 to 18 November 2026. The Atelier, titled "Who Do You Stand For?", invites dance sector professionals – artists, arts managers, leaders and organisations – to examine questions of representation, responsibility and accountability in contemporary cultural practice. Participants will engage in discussions, peer exchange and collective reflection on collective leadership models, participatory governance and collaborative working structures. The event is part of EDN’s FAIR Working Group and aims to support more equitable working conditions for dance artists and professionals across Europe.

Participants will receive travel support from EDN, including travel reimbursement, two per‑diems at €40 per day and accommodation for up to three nights for up to seven participants. A participation fee of €150 will be invoiced to the participant or their organisation. Attendance is otherwise free of charge. The Atelier is open to all dance sector professionals; travel support is limited to members of the EDN FAIR Working Group, EDN member organisations and their associated freelance communities, but non‑members may still apply for travel support by contacting a member organisation.

Applications are accepted online via a Google Form and must be submitted by 17 September 2026.
