Geometry Unruled
Amos Eno Gallery
About This Opportunity
Geometry Unruled is an online exhibition hosted by the artist‑run Amos Eno Gallery on Artsy.net. The call invites U.S.-based artists to submit works that treat geometry as an open, unstable language, emphasizing subjectivity, imperfection, and the traces of making. Accepted media include painting, sculpture, prints and any physical artwork; purely digital pieces without a material form are not eligible. Submissions may include up to three works for a $35 entry fee (or $36.21 via PayPal to cover transaction costs). The exhibition will run from November 2 to December 13, 2026, and will be presented on Artsy with each artist receiving a complimentary digital copy of a zine (printed copies available for purchase). All works will be listed for sale on Artsy, with a 20 % gallery commission and a 19 % Artsy commission; the artist retains 61 % of any sale price. Curated by Philip Swan, the show aims to showcase geometric practices that embrace ambiguity, instability, and vulnerability, referencing artists such as Eva Hesse, Gego, Mira Schendel, Julie Mehretu, and Sarah Sze. The call closes on October 16, 2026.
