First Nations Public Art Opportunities
Ipswich City Council
About This Opportunity
Ipswich City Council is inviting expressions of interest from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists with a strong connection to Tulmur/Ipswich to design new public artworks for two distinct sites in Ipswich. No prior public‑art experience is required, making the call open to both emerging and established First Nations artists. The commission offers a $20,000 design fee (fabrication and installation will be managed by the Council). Applicants must submit a CV (max two pages), a short biography (max 150 words), up to five images of previous work or a portfolio link, and a statement of their connection to Tulmur/Ipswich.
