Firehouse Art Center Open Call 2027/2028

The Firehouse Art Center, Longmont’s leading contemporary art center, invites solo and group exhibition proposals for its 2027/2028 exhibition calendar. The center offers two exhibition spaces in a historic landmark building and provides free public admission. Applications are submitted online via the CaFÉ™ system. Artists may include works in any medium, including installation, film, and performance. Group exhibitions and curatorial proposals are welcome, with a designated lead artist/curator applying once. The call is open to all artists residing in the continental United States, with no age restrictions. An entry fee of $35 applies, and artists are responsible for shipping or delivering artwork. Selected artists will receive exhibition space, the opportunity for sales (commission waived), and promotional exposure. The deadline for online submission is September 11, 2026. The exhibition period will run during the 2027/2028 calendar year.
