About This Opportunity

The Hong Kong Arts Development Council (HKADC) offers the Emerging Artists Development Grant as part of its Project Grant programme. The grant aims to nurture promising emerging artists and arts groups by providing financial support for a wide range of project types, including performances, exhibitions, publications, education programmes, and research. Applicants may be individual artists who hold a Hong Kong identity card and are at least 18 years old, or registered arts organisations based in Hong Kong. The grant is open to all art forms – music, dance, drama, visual arts, film & media, literary arts, arts administration, criticism and education. Funding is intended to help recipients gain professional experience, increase exposure, and further develop their careers. Applications are accepted online via email, with the deadline for the 2026 round set for 31 December 2026. No application fee is required. Successful applicants will receive a cash grant (amount varies per project) and may also benefit from mentorship and networking opportunities provided by HKADC. Restrictions
