About This Opportunity
The Austrian Commission for UNESCO, in cooperation with kulturen in bewegung and VIDC‑Global Dialogue, invites artists, cultural professionals and representatives from the human‑rights sector to a focused workshop titled "Resisting Pressures: Protecting Artistic Freedom as a Human Right." The event will take place on 30 September 2026 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the barrier‑free WUK project space, Währinger Str. 59, 1090 Vienna. Participants will hear opening statements from five artists and civil‑society representatives, followed by small‑group discussions aimed at sharing strategies for resistance and collaboration.
