CSU Spur - Call for Proposals for Solo Exhibitions

CSU Spur, a public‑facing campus of Colorado State University in Denver, is seeking proposals for solo exhibitions that examine the intersection of community, sustainability and innovation. The call welcomes artists of any medium and background to present work that engages themes of food, water, health and the broader environment. Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis and reviewed quarterly, with the overall call closing on 1 November 2026. Selected artists will be contacted by CSU Spur staff to discuss exhibition logistics, and the institution will provide exhibition space, promotional materials and may host an opening reception with artist talks. An entry fee of $20 applies. Eligibility is open to artists nationally, with a particular encouragement for residents of the 80216 Denver zip code. All works must be original, created within the past five years, and ready for wall display. The exhibition will run sometime in 2026‑2027, with exact dates determined in collaboration with the artist.
