About This Opportunity

As part of the CreArt 3.0 project, the City of Lublin together with Warsztaty Kultury invite two individual artists – one from Lublin and one from a partner city in the CreArt network – to apply for a 17‑day residency (12–28 November 2026). Participants will work collaboratively on a large movable globe, developing a joint artwork that will be publicly presented on 27 November. Selected artists receive a gross grant of €800, up to €460 for material/production costs, flight tickets (for CreArt‑city artists), accommodation and two meals per day. A curatorial and coordination team will support the process. Applications are free and must be submitted in English by 23 October 2026, including CV, portfolio, project proposal and proof of connection to a CreArt city. Eligibility is limited to artists residing in or born in the listed partner cities, members of the Croatian Association of Visual Artists (HDLU), and Ukrainian artists via the Lviv Artistic Council. No age limit applies, but applicants must hold a university art degree or equivalent track record. The residency is funded by the European Union’s Creative Europe Programme.
