About This Opportunity

The crazinisT artisT studiO Scholarship: Temporal Relocation Program, funded by Va‑Bene Elikem Fiatsi’s personal tithe, provides comprehensive support to uplift and empower marginalized young individuals, including queer persons, women and other under‑privileged groups. Each year up to three mentees are selected through a rigorous process that values commitment, vision, acute risk and willingness to stay at the studio for the program duration. The award includes full or half scholarships, financial aid, shelter, mentorship, and access to educational courses, apprenticeships or skills‑training aimed at personal and professional development. Applicants must be between 16 and 28 years old, identify as women, transgender or queer, and lack family support for education or training. The program duration ranges from six months to four years, with exceptions for specific projects. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis with no fixed deadline; the number of participants is limited to three per year. The selection process involves an online interview within six weeks of application submission. No application fee is required. The scholarship is based in Kumasi, Ghana, where crazinisT artisT studiO operates as a non‑profit research space focusing on performance and interdisciplinary residencies.
