Cooper Center Galleries: Call for Art

Cooper Center Galleries, part of the City of Newton’s Department of Arts and Culture, is inviting individual artists and small teams to submit proposals for a 3‑month exhibition in the third‑floor gallery space. The upcoming Call for Art covers the exhibition period from December 1, 2026 to February 28, 2027, with applications opening September 18, 2026 and a deadline of October 16, 2026. Selected artists will display 15–20 pieces of 2D artwork in a public municipal space, and are responsible for transport, installation, and removal. The program offers exhibition space, publicity through city channels, and a release of liability form; no stipend or travel support is provided.
