About This Opportunity

River Arts Center presents Collecting Kinship: The Belonging We Build, a juried exhibition that seeks artwork reflecting the many forms of kinship cultivated through community life. Inspired by recent studies on social connectedness in Wisconsin, the call encourages artists to celebrate relationships, shared spaces, and collective experiences that foster belonging. The exhibition will run from Monday, December 7, 2026 to Friday, February 12, 2027 at the Sauk Prairie River Arts Center in Prairie du Sac, WI.

Eligibility: Open to artists residing in Wisconsin.
Application: Submit an application and pay the entry fee by Tuesday, November 3, 2026. River Arts members pay a $5 fee; non‑members pay $20 (plus any processing fees). A $20 participation fee is required after acceptance.
What’s offered: Selected works will be displayed in a public exhibition at the River Arts Center. No housing or travel support is provided.
How to apply: Applications are submitted through the River Arts Center’s online form (see additional links). Selected artists will be notified and asked to pay the participation fee before the exhibition installation.
