U-jazdowski Castle – Warsaw, Poland

The U‑jazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art Residency is an interdisciplinary programme based in a historic castle surrounded by a park in central Warsaw. It welcomes visual artists, curators and art observers – both emerging and established – to develop research‑driven artistic projects that engage with ecological, social, political and humanitarian themes. Applicants may apply individually or as duos/collaborative teams, with each participant submitting a separate application and a joint project proposal. The residency provides fully equipped studio space, private accommodation, access to the centre’s library, cinema, exhibition spaces and a broad network of international artists and curators. Financial support, funded by the Mondrian Fund, covers travel, living and material costs, though a 10 % personal contribution is required. The programme runs for three months (April – June 2027) and culminates in public presentations and opportunities for further exhibition. Applications are free and must be submitted by 27 August 2026.
