Call for Submissions – The Wide World of Indigenous Geographies
NiCHE
About This Opportunity
NiCHE, in collaboration with the Geographic Indigenous Futures Collaboratory, invites short articles, blog posts, and creative works that highlight Indigenous relationships with environment, place, and space. Submissions may include visual art, photo essays, maps, poetry, short audio, or mixed media, and should be written for a broad audience. Accepted pieces will be published on the NiCHE website, providing editorial feedback and exposure to scholars, students, educators, and community readers. Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis, with review decisions typically provided within two weeks. The call welcomes works in English, French, and Indigenous languages, focusing on Indigenous geographies in Canada and the United States but also considering international perspectives.
