ASEF LinkUp 2026 | Call for Arts Sector Participants

The Asia‑Europe Foundation (ASEF) is launching the open call for arts and cultural sector participants for ASEF LinkUp 2026 – a three‑phase Asia‑Europe Cultural Diplomacy Lab that runs from October 2026 to February 2027. The programme consists of five online pre‑sessions (15 Oct – 12 Nov), a five‑day in‑person lab in Ljubljana (23 – 27 Nov), and up to three follow‑up online sessions (Dec 2026 – Feb 2027) culminating in a collaborative Fieldbook. ASEF seeks up to ten mid‑career cultural practitioners, arts managers, curators, researchers or academics who hold citizenship in any ASEM partner country, have at least five years of professional experience, are 21 years or older, and can work in English. Selected participants will receive full coverage of travel (economy flight, train or bus), six nights of accommodation, a per‑diem, visa fees where applicable, and meals during the in‑person lab. No application or participation fee is required. Applicants must complete the online Formstack application by Thursday 27 August 2026 (6 pm SGT). Notification of results will be sent by mid‑September 2026. The call is open to individuals from the arts and cultural sector only; government representatives are selected separately by nomination.

Return economy flight or train/bus to Ljubljana, 6‑night accommodation, per‑diem, visa fee coverage, meals, access to workshops, online sessions, and the final Fieldbook.

Citizens of ASEM partner countries; mid‑career (minimum 5 years experience); age 21+; English proficiency; arts and cultural sector (government sector excluded); individual applicants only.
