Artists and Makers Market

Visual Arts Scotland SCIO (VAS) is launching its second Artists & Makers Market, taking place on 10–11 October 2026 at the historic Dalkeith Palace & Country Park. The market provides a high‑profile, curated platform for contemporary artists, designers and craft makers to showcase and sell original work directly to the public. Open to both emerging and established practitioners across all disciplines, applicants must submit original work intended for sale. The call closes on 31 August 2026. Selected participants receive a 2‑day exhibition slot with a standard interior table (182 × 76 × 76 cm) supplied with a white cloth. Table fees are £120 for VAS members (£60 per day) and £180 for non‑members (£90 per day). Public entry to the market is free, with parking available for £3 per day. Applications are made via VAS membership or by emailing admin@visualartsscotland.org, and detailed information packs are emailed to successful applicants. This call is part of an ongoing series of VAS opportunities, indicating a recurring annual market.
