About This Opportunity
La Biennale di Venezia announces the ninth edition of the Biennale College Archive – Writing in Residence 2026. The programme is open to young graduates (under 30) from any country who possess an excellent command of spoken and written Italian. Selected participants will conduct archival research in the Historical Archive of La Biennale, guided by expert tutors, and produce a critical text of up to 15 pages that will be published as part of the Biennale’s new magazine. Two thematic tracks are offered: Writing on Music (deadline 28 August 2026) and Writing on Cinema (deadline 26 July 2026). The residency provides access to the archive, mentorship, and publication opportunities. No application fee is required.
