Aix Artist Stay

Aix Artist Stay is a week‑long creative residency offered by Le Studio du Faubourg in Aix‑en‑Provence, France. It welcomes dancers, visual artists, photographers, filmmakers and interdisciplinary creators to develop self‑directed projects while accessing an 80 m² dance studio (when available) and participating in scheduled classes. Participants receive private accommodation in a furnished studio apartment and can discuss project needs with the host team. The residency season runs from 15 October 2026 to 27 June 2027, with applications considered throughout the season based on preferred dates and project proposals. The €590 launch fee covers seven nights of accommodation, studio access, and classes (excluding theatre). A €200 deposit is required, with the remaining €390 due before arrival. Travel, meals, materials and optional services are not included. No exhibition is guaranteed, but gallery use can be arranged separately. Applicants are asked to provide a brief description of their practice and project, with a portfolio optional.
