About This Opportunity
The AiR in Sweden residency, organized by the Nordic Watercolour Museum (Nordiska Akvarellmuseet) in Skärhamn, provides artists, writers, journalists, researchers and human‑rights activists with a seven‑day stay in one of the museum’s guest studios. Participants receive free accommodation, studio facilities and a travel grant of up to 1 000 SEK to support travel and material costs. Applications are evaluated by a jury and must include a short motivation and a presentation of recent work. The deadline for the 2026 edition is 1 October 2026, with the program running annually. No application fee is required and the call is open to creators of all disciplines and nationalities.
