About This Opportunity

The Digital Arts Residency: Exploring AI, AR & VR as playful decolonial tools is a five-day intensive residency that brings together diverse Danish artists to learn, experiment, and develop playful stories/experiences using creative technology (AI, AR & VR) alongside industry mentors. The residency is hosted at the space of the Salon at ARoS Museum and aims to democratize and decolonize the digital space by giving artists access and knowledge of these tools to create the content they want. The nine selected creatives will explore Augmented Reality, VR technology, and Generative AI to create experiences using playfulness and humor as tropes for an anti-colonial critique.
