Brittle Paper’s The Writing Room

Brittle Paper’s The Writing Room is a free digital learning platform designed for aspiring African writers. Participants can enroll in a series of five masterclass courses covering essential aspects of fiction writing: Theme (taught by Molara Wood), Setting (Eghosa Imasuen), Plot (Zukiswa Wanner), Language and Style (Ellah Wakatama), and Character Development (Chimeka Garricks). The program provides exposure, mentorship from established African literary professionals, and a certificate upon completion. Applications are open to writers residing in Africa, with no entry fee required.
