About This Opportunity

The Korean Cultural Centre UK (KCCUK) is pleased to announce its 2027 Open Call for emerging Korean or Korean‑heritage artists. The call seeks artists who have graduated from a UK‑based art school (BA, MA or PhD) or who are currently living and working in the UK. Applicants must be 18 or older, have exhibited at least once (solo or group) and submit works created within the last five years (previously shown at KCCUK are excluded). All fine‑art disciplines are welcome. Selected artists will be featured in a group exhibition scheduled for February–April 2027 (exact dates to be confirmed) at KCCUK’s gallery space in London. The programme provides exhibition space, invigilation, an opening event, a certificate of participation, and promotional support through KCCUK’s channels. Additionally, each selected artist receives a participant support fee of £250. Artists are responsible for any production, transportation, installation and de‑installation costs not covered by the centre. Applications consist of a single PDF (max 7 MB) containing a biography, portfolio (up to five works), and artwork statements, and must be submitted in English via email by 15 November 2026 (midnight GMT). Results will be announced in early December 2026 on the KCCUK website.
