Bread & Dance Prague 2026 International Market of Dancers

Bread & Dance Prague 2026 International Market of Dancers is a curated workshop series that runs from 31 October to 2 November 2026 in Prague, Czech Republic. The program invites professional dancers and dance students aged 16 and older to engage directly with the artistic directors and choreographers of prominent Czech companies such as Lenka Vagnerová & Company, Temporary Collective, BURKICOM, and 420PEOPLE. Participants will attend intensive workshops led by these choreographers, receive personalized feedback, and explore the creative processes behind their work. In addition to the workshops, the event includes a breakfast networking session on 2 November, offering dancers the chance to discuss career opportunities and collaborate with industry professionals.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until all spots are filled. Applicants must submit a completed registration form (available in Czech or English) and a one‑minute dance video. The selection is based on the application and video, with notifications sent within ten days of submission. The cost for participants is 160 EUR (≈ 4 000 CZK) for the two‑day workshop and breakfast. No housing or travel support is provided. The event is part of the Bread & Dance Prague festival, an international contemporary dance and physical theatre festival founded in 2023 by leading Czech companies. The festival aims to promote collaboration, education, and networking within the dance community. The International Market of Dancers is one of the festival’s key pillars, offering a platform for emerging and established dancers to learn from and connect with top choreographers.
