The Dancers Intensive: Colossus with Stephanie Lake Company is a three‑week contemporary dance training and performance program hosted by the Banff Centre for Arts & Creativity. Participants will learn and perform Stephanie Lake’s large‑scale work, Colossus, which involves over 50 dancers working as a single, evolving organism. The intensive combines rigorous professional training, ensemble building, and performance practice, culminating in two public performances on June 25 and 26, 2027. Applicants must be 18+ years old, have contemporary dance training or equivalent experience, and be able to commit to the full duration of the program.
