The City of Lublin, in partnership with the CreArt 3.0 project and co‑funded by the European Union’s Creative Europe programme, is calling for two visual artists to participate in a nine‑day residency from 13 to 21 September 2026. The residency is part of the annual “Festiwal na Złotej” (Festival on Złota Street), an interdisciplinary festival that celebrates contemporary art in the historic heart of Lublin. Applicants are expected to develop site‑specific interventions, installations, performance or street art that respond to the architectural and cultural context of Złota Street. The selected artists will receive €700 gross remuneration, up to €460 gross for material and production costs, and the City of Lublin will cover travel expenses from the partner city or nearest airport to Warsaw or Lublin, as well as accommodation and two meals per day. The residency offers a unique opportunity to engage with the local community and to showcase work in a prominent public space.
Eligibility: Artists born or residing in any of the CreArt network cities (Kaunas, Liepāja, Skopje, Aveiro, Valladolid, Venice, Clermont‑Ferrand, Rouen, Regensburg, České Budějovice, Oulu), HDLU members, or Ukrainian artists collaborating with the Lviv Artistic Council “Dialog”. There are no age limits. All applications must be submitted in a single PDF in English, including ID, proof of connection to a network city, CV, portfolio, and a project proposal.
Application deadline is 27 July 2026; selection results will be announced by 31 July 2026.
