Writing Retreats at Blue Springs Creek Retreats is a 6‑day residency located on five acres of lush nature surrounding a creek just outside Nashville, Tennessee. The program is open to poets, fiction, and creative nonfiction writers of all levels and welcomes participants from all nationalities. Each retreat is limited to four writers, providing an intimate environment with uninterrupted daytime writing hours, a shared sunroom workspace, individual consultations with the facilitator, and evening gatherings for sharing work and literary conversation. The retreat includes full housing in a private 2‑bedroom boutique apartment and a guest house, as well as shared kitchen facilities. Participants also benefit from a quiet, inspiring setting with opportunities for hiking, forest bathing, and creekside reflection. The retreat is part of Blue Springs Creek Retreats, founded by Christie Grotheim, and is always accepting applications for future retreats.
