IHRAF Festival 2026 Call
About This Opportunity
The International Human Rights Art Movement (IHRAF) is calling for live performance works for its eighth annual festival, scheduled for December 7‑13, 2026 at The Wild Project in New York City. Submissions are open from July 1 to August 15, 2026, and are limited to artists based in New York and the surrounding Tri‑state area. Works must be fully produced by the applicant and cannot have been produced within the last year in NYC or scheduled for the next six months of December 13, 2026. Each accepted performer receives a $250 stipend, PR and marketing support, a 30‑minute technical rehearsal, festival technical director and stage manager assistance, and free photographic and video documentation of the performance. The festival does not cover travel or lodging expenses. The call is recurring, with a new edition each year, and offers a week‑long festival experience in December. Artists are invited to email their proposals to costanza@humanrightsartmovement.org with a brief description, cover letter, bios, and a sample of their work.
