Witsprouts Project
关于此机会
The Witsprouts Project, a cultural organisation based in Lagos and Abuja, has launched the second edition of its Storytelling Prize. Nominations are open from August 10 to September 30, 2026, and the prize offers a cash award of ₦500,000. The competition welcomes young storytellers and voice artists who use multimedia to tell engaging, impactful stories, regardless of genre—podcasts, spoken word, animation, audio drama, video, and more. Nominees can be anyone, including the storyteller themselves, a friend, colleague, or fan. The selection process is handled in‑house by the Witsprouts team, with a shortlist announced and a final judge announced closer to the shortlist stage. The prize aims to revive oral storytelling traditions and support emerging African creatives worldwide.
