WE THE ARTISTS is an international digital art open call launched by ADA University, .ART Domains, and the Castellani Art Museum of Niagara University to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States Declaration of Independence. The call invites digital artists worldwide to explore contemporary interpretations of the American vision, focusing on themes of freedom, identity, belonging, possibility, and the future. Submissions are limited to one original digital artwork per artist and may be in any screen‑based medium, including still images (JPG, PNG), animation or video (MP4), generative art, or AI‑assisted work. Files must be under 100 MB and high‑resolution, with a preference for vertical/portrait formats suitable for ADA Gallery in Washington D.C. Selected works will be exhibited as part of an international program that begins at Baku Art Weekend 2026, continues in Washington D.C. alongside the permanent collection of the Castellani Art Museum, and concludes in Niagara Falls, New York. The exhibition will provide artists with a platform to engage audiences across three culturally distinct cities. The call is open to digital artists at any career stage, with no age or nationality restrictions. Applications are free to submit; however, artists may purchase additional entries for $10.
