Fondazione Pistoletto Cittadellarte, in partnership with the UNIDEE Residency Programs, is recruiting a Visiting Research Curator to shape the research arc of the UNIDEE Residency Modules for the 2027/2028 cycle. The role is a temporary appointment from November 2026 to December 2028, with a gross compensation starting at €22,000 (excluding travel and hospitality). The curator will develop an overarching curatorial framework, design and deliver at least eight weekly residential modules per year, and collaborate with mentors, participants, and the UNIDEE archive. Responsibilities include selecting residents, facilitating workshops and discussions, documenting and evaluating the program, and contributing to publications and international dissemination. Applicants should be experienced curators in socially engaged art and the public sphere, possess strong knowledge of international contemporary art, and have a background in artistic research and innovative educational formats. Excellent English is required; Italian language skills are welcome. Applications must include a project proposal, CV, portfolio of up to three relevant projects, and two letters of recommendation, and are due by 23:59 CEST on 13 September 2026. The selection process involves a jury review and an online interview in mid‑October 2026.
