“光之剧场”：特定场域艺术作品国际征集

To celebrate the 180th anniversary of Teatro Goldoni in Livorno, the Fondazione Teatro della Città di Livorno “Carlo Goldoni” has launched an international open call for a contemporary site‑specific artwork dedicated to the theatre’s distinctive glass vault. The selected work will respond to the changing qualities of natural light within the auditorium and become part of the theatre’s cultural heritage. The call is open to individual artists, artist collectives, and curators working jointly with artists, with no restrictions on nationality or age, though experience with protected cultural heritage is valued. Proposals must include a concept, technical and conservation compatibility report, budget, timeline, portfolio and self‑declaration. Selection occurs in two phases – an admissibility commission followed by an artistic jury. The award includes an artist’s fee of €15,000 and a production budget of up to €20,000. Installation is scheduled for 1–22 July 2027, with public opening on 24 July 2027 and an exhibition lasting four to six months at Teatro Goldoni, Livorno, Italy.
