The Elaine Bermingham National Watercolour Prize in Landscape Painting 2026, administered by Queensland College of Art and Design (QCAD) at Griffith University, invites Australian artists aged 18 or over to submit watercolour works that explore landscape, including seascape and urban environments. The non‑acquisitive prize is open to all Australian artists and accepts up to three artworks per entrant. Entries close at 11:59 pm AEST on 8 November 2026. A $40 entry fee per artwork (reduced to $20 for Griffith University students) is required after form submission. The overall winner receives a cash prize of AUD 20,000, and shortlisted finalists are exhibited at QCAD Galleries across the Brisbane City (Southbank) campus from 10 December to 14 January 2026. The prize is judged by a panel of senior QCAD staff and the principal judge, Alison Kubler. Applicants must provide digital images of their works (under 2 MB each), a brief artist statement (max 200 words), and a one‑page CV. Detailed terms and conditions are available in a PDF, and the entry form and payment portal are linked on the prize page.
