2027年南卡罗来纳州立公园驻地艺术家项目

The South Carolina State Parks Artist‑In‑Residence (AIR) program is a yearly residency that invites artists of many disciplines to spend one week in a South Carolina state park, drawing inspiration from the park’s natural and cultural resources. Selected participants receive free lodging in a cabin, camper cabin, or campsite, and are responsible for their own transportation and personal gear. In return, artists must produce an original artwork representative of their stay and deliver it within 90 days of the residency; the work will be displayed in park cabins and other facilities. The program is open to South Carolina residents and non‑residents, but excludes artists who manipulate or disturb park resources, use materials from endangered species, or collect materials from park property. SCPRT employees are not eligible. The application period for the 2027 residency opens on September 1, 2026 and closes on September 30, 2026. A non‑refundable application fee of $25.00 is required.
