关于此机会
SEMAC (Southeastern Minnesota Arts Council) is currently offering a Project Support Grant for Individual Artists and Culture Bearers. The grant is divided into two categories: Emerging and Advancing. Emerging applicants are early-career artists, while Advancing applicants must have a sustained body of work demonstrating artistic excellence. The grant proposal must support the creation of new work and include a public engagement component such as an exhibition, performance, reading, or other in‑person activity. Applicants must provide a specific date for the public component and a brief description of how the project advances their practice. The award amounts are $2,000 to $4,000 for Emerging and $3,000 to $6,000 for Advancing. Grant recipients must sit out one full fiscal year before reapplying for the same grant. The next application cycle opens on December 15, 2026, with a deadline of January 25, 2027. The earliest project start date is April 18, 2027. The program is open to individual artists and culture bearers living in the 11‑county SEMAC region of southeastern Minnesota.
