Greatmore Studios, an artist‑run studio complex in the Woodstock neighbourhood of Cape Town, runs a Visiting Artist Residency that hosts four to six international artists for a period of two to three months. The residency runs three intake periods per year (January‑March, May‑July, September‑November) and operates on a rolling basis, accepting applications year‑round. Residents receive a private studio space, assistance in finding accommodation, and deep integration into Cape Town’s vibrant contemporary art scene, including opportunities to exhibit and collaborate with the permanent studio community. Applications are submitted by emailing a biography, CV, motivation letter and images to info@greatmoreart.org. No application fee is required.
