The Temple Hoyne Buell Center for the Study of American Architecture at Columbia University seeks a recent doctoral recipient to join its intellectual community as a Buell Center Research and Teaching Fellow. The 21‑month fellowship (two academic years plus an intervening summer) begins on September 1, 2026. Fellows receive a stipend, teaching opportunities in GSAPP’s architectural history survey course, and access to the Center’s resources, workshops, and public programming. Candidates must hold a PhD in Architecture or a related discipline awarded within three years of the start date, demonstrate a strong record of scholarly writing, and show interest in interdisciplinary research. Application materials include CV, cover letter, research and teaching statements, dissertation abstract, images, writing sample, and references. Review of applications begins on October 15, 2025 and continues until the position is filled.
