“夏日文艺复兴”——面向艺术家和诗人的征集公告

Summer Renaissance, organized by The Latina Sweat Project, takes place on Saturday, August 1 2026 from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM at LSP Studio (949 W 16th St, Pilsen, Chicago). The event combines a gallery exhibition of queer artists’ work on the walls (6:00‑8:00 PM) with an open‑mic/slam poetry session (6:00‑8:00 PM) and a dance floor (8:00‑11:00 PM). All proceeds support the LGBTQ+ community. The organizers invite queer artists and poets from the Latina Sweat Project community to submit their work. Submissions are made via a short Google Form: fill out the sheet, attach at least two photos of the artwork, and submit. No application fee is required. Selected works will be displayed during the exhibition portion of the event and participants may perform during the open‑mic segment. Tickets for the event are $15 general admission.
