The KODA Kultur Project Grant supports major projects or communication initiatives at home and abroad – such as festivals, larger events or campaigns – which focus on the creation and dissemination of new music. The grant is open to organisations, associations, festivals, institutions and other major entities that can demonstrate a significant contribution to new music. Applicants must provide a detailed project description, budget, schedule and evidence of impact. The grant subsidises expenses associated with realising the project and can be provided as a regular subsidy or a deficit guarantee. Applications are submitted via the KODA online legat portal approximately three weeks before the deadline. In 2026 there are two annual deadlines (26 March and 22 October); the next deadline is 22 October 2026 at 15:00. The grant may be awarded for up to three years, but an applicant may receive the grant only once per calendar year per project. The committee, appointed by KODA’s Board, evaluates applications and replies within about one month. Successful recipients must credit KODA Kultur and may be required to submit financial accounts within a year of receiving the grant.
