关于此机会

The Creative Communities Scheme (CCS) is a partnership between Creative New Zealand and the Mackenzie District Council that offers grant funding to individuals, groups and community organisations to deliver arts‑focused projects in the Mackenzie District. Eligible activities include visual arts, music, performance, dance, digital storytelling, Māori arts, literary workshops and other creative expressions that involve community participation. Projects must be arts‑focused, take place within the district, be completed within 12 months of approval and cannot start before funding is granted. Applicants may be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents (individuals) or NZ‑based groups. There is no set maximum amount; most grants are under NZD 5,000, but any amount needed for the eligible project can be requested. Funding can cover materials, personnel, promotion and other project‑related costs, but does not cover capital purchases, travel, or ongoing organisational expenses. Applications for the 2026/2027 round open on 6 July 2026 and close on 19 August 2026. Applications are submitted online via the Mackenzie District Council website and are assessed by local arts committees.
