“作家进校园”计划
The Arts Council (An Chomhairle Ealaíon)
关于此机会
The Writers in Schools Scheme, funded by The Arts Council and administered by Poetry Ireland, provides part‑funded visits by writers and storytellers to primary and post‑primary schools throughout the island of Ireland. Established in 1977, the scheme aims to spark creative encounters between tens of thousands of children and writers each year. Individual artists – including poets, novelists, storytellers, teen fiction writers, children’s writers, spoken‑word poets and screenwriters – may apply for a single 2‑hour school visit (which can be split into shorter sessions). The scheme offers a maximum award of €250 per project (as of 2025) and covers travel expenses; schools contribute €100 towards the visit. Applications open on 1 January 2026 and close on 31 December 2026. The call is open to all individual writers residing in Ireland, with no age restrictions. Applicants submit their proposals through Poetry Ireland’s application portal. Successful projects receive the grant, travel support, and the opportunity to engage directly with students in a classroom setting.
